Knitted Hat with Pom Pom Pattern

Hi Everyone!

This week I want to share with you a knitted hat pattern that uses the same Loops and Threads Facet yarn that I used in last weeks infinity scarf pattern. I tried some decreasing with this pattern and think it turned out alright. I need to practice decreasing more to make it look perfectly round, but I think it looks round enough for my first try.

Here is the pattern:

Cast off. Leaving a long tail to sew the top and sides of the hat together. To sew up the sides of the hat, use the mattress stitch or any other sewing techniques you prefer.

Optional Pom Pom
Use a medium or large plastic pom pom maker (6.35 cm (2 1/2-inch) or 8.59 cm (3 3/8-inch)), a forkyour fingers, or a cardboard pom pom maker. Tie finished pom pom onto the top of the hat.
The pom pom is optional, but I think it makes the hat look nicer and more fun.

That’s the pom pom knitted hat pattern. This roving yarn is so soft and easy to use and since it is super bulky, the projects are completed really quickly.

Two Skein Knitted Infinity Scarf Pattern

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year! It is the beginning of the year and it is still quite cold so this two skeined knitted infinity scarf will help with the chill in the air. I used some really soft Loops and Threads Facets yarn for this project and completed it with just two skeins of it, including sewing the edges together.

Here is the pattern:

Materials
Two Skeins of Super Bulky Yarn (110 Metres/120 Yards each)
10.0 mm (US 15) Knitting Needles
Tapestry Needle
Scissors

Pattern
CO 30 STs.
Row 1: Knit till end of row (30)
Row 2: Purl till end of row (30)
Repeat Row 1 and Row 2 until you have used up most of the yarn.
Cast off, leaving a long tail to sew the ends together.

To sew the ends of the scarf together, you can use the mattress stitch or any other type of sewing methods that you prefer.

Complete!
As you can see, this pattern is very simple and just uses the basics of knitting to complete.
