• Crossover Crochet Cowl

Hello everyone! Today I will be sharing a pattern I made up that was inspired by Karin’s Tunisian Cowl. I wanted to Tunisian crochet, but I am not brave enough to try it yet so I just did this in double crochets. I recently bought an afghan crochet hook so I might use that for my first Tunisian crochet project! This project was really simple and with a little folding and sewing it changes the look of the cowl. • Crochet Baby Santa/Elf Hat

Hi everyone! I have seen so many amazing crochet Christmas items online lately and it made me think of the crochet baby hat I made awhile ago. I have this holiday homespun yarn I bought when it was cheap after the holiday season. I like homespun yarn because I always finish projects really fast when I use it. This newborn baby Santa/Elf hat pattern is from Amber’s The Flighty Crafter Blog. It is an elf hat, but since I made it with red and added a white trim, I think it would work as a Santa hat as well 🙂 This pattern was easy to follow and it seems like…

  • Crochet Rose Bag Pattern

Hi Everyone! Today I want to share my completed rose bag that I wrote about in a Bi-Weekly Pattern Share. Once I finished the base, the rest of the bag felt like it was completed quickly. I think my bag turned out larger than the pattern cause I used a thicker yarn than the pattern said to use. I decided to use three colours since I wanted to use it a lot. I used Caron Simply Soft, so there were a lot of colours to choose from. I wanted to use it up cause I got it from a yarn sale at Michael’s last year. Hooray for yarn sales! I…

  • Simple Cowl/Infinity Scarf

Hi Everyone! In today’s post I am sharing a simple cowl/infinity scarf pattern that I used to make a present. It is a really easy pattern that I was able to finish fairly quickly. That is always a plus for me since I always start many projects at a time. • Crochet Hat

Hi everyone! It’s time for another hat pattern I want to share. I made this for my husband because it is starting to get cold. It is a simple pattern that I adjusted because he wanted a ribbed edge for the hat. I found the pattern on Jenni’s By Jenni Designs blog. I followed her pattern until row 25 and finished off to work on the ribbing separately. Her pattern was really easy to follow and there are different patterns for finishing the hat off on her blog post. • Pikachu Bobble Stitch Pixel Blanket

Hi everyone! I am back to talk about the Pikachu Bobble Stitch Pixel Blanket I started a long while back. As you know I started this months ago and finally finished a couple of weeks ago after I got back from my trip to the UK. I will be writing about my trip in a later post 🙂 I loved it there! Anyways, back to the blanket. I got the idea from Sarah’s Repeat Crafter Me Blog and the Pikachu graph from here. She has so many other blanket ideas for graphs! I want to try a corner to corner blanket next. It took a long time, but I love…

  • Crochet Kitchen Scrubbie

Hi Everyone! I listed a new item in my Etsy store recently and today I want to share the pattern I used to make it with you 🙂 I always see people crocheting scrubbies, but haven’t really found out what the material they used was until I watched a video on Staci’s VeryPinkKnits Youtube Channel about Kitchen Scrubbies. She mentions that she found her materials at a fabric store so I went to one near my work to find some. Turns out they are made with nylon netting and I found some for cheap that was already cut into a 3.81 cm (1.5 inch) wide roll. I was very exited…

  • 3DS Crochet Case

Simple & Easy 3DS Crochet Case Pattern

Back again with another crochet pattern, a 3DS Crochet Case! I have the original Nintendo 3DS and I thought it was time for a new case. I had previously made a case, but it was looking a little droopy. It was actually one of my first projects and it uses the star stitch. I had followed Teresa’s Cell Phone Pouch Video and just made it longer to fit the 3DS. If you are new to crochet Teresa’s video on her Crochet Geek Channel will be very helpful to you! I watched her videos to learn about to crochet and also with a little help from my mom :D Anyway, onto…
