Granny Square Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern with Flowered Edge
Hi Everyone! This week’s pattern is a combination of a granny square blanket and a flowers in a row patternthat I found from the Red Heart pattern page. I had originally wanted to make this for my mom, but as you know I much prefer to make baby items. This made made completing this project much quicker than expected. I had quite a few skeins of pale yellow from a sale bag at Michael’s and decided to use that for the granny square part and other light pastel colours for the flower rows. Let’s get started! Crochet Water Bottle Cozy Pattern – Vancouver Canucks #10 Pavel Bure
Hi Everyone! Back with another free pattern! How is everyone doing? I received a request recently to make a personalized water bottle cozy and thought it was an interesting idea. For those that don’t know, the Vancouver Canucks are a professional hockey team in the NHL and Pavel Bure was once a big part of this team. I have been a fan of this team since I can remember and really enjoyed this project. The bottle cozy uses single crochet worked in the round. For the personalization, I followed the instructions of Sarah and Alli and also some free hand crochet for the stripes. I think it turned out really…

New Logo and Business Cards!
Hi Everyone! Today I will not be sharing my own creations, but the work of Jade Melnychuk. You may have noticed that I have changed the theme of my blog recently. I decided to change it with advice from Jade, after she designed my business cards and made me new logos! The first thing I wanted to talk about are the new logos that Jade designed for me. She asked me to pin some items on Pinterest that I liked. She used these pictures to design my new logos! I love them! It was a really quick process and she really turned my likes into something I love. Here is…

Basic Crochet Cowl Pattern
Hi Everyone! Back again with another basic crochet pattern. This cowl can be adjusted to any length and width. You just have to adjust how many chains you start with and how many rows you do. I made this using Red Heart’s Boutique Unforgettable yarn in the Winery colour. This yarn is a little hard to work with, but once you get used to it, the colours of the yarn are really quite nice. Crossover Crochet Cowl
Hello everyone! Today I will be sharing a pattern I made up that was inspired by Karin’s Tunisian Cowl. I wanted to Tunisian crochet, but I am not brave enough to try it yet so I just did this in double crochets. I recently bought an afghan crochet hook so I might use that for my first Tunisian crochet project! This project was really simple and with a little folding and sewing it changes the look of the cowl. Crochet Baby Santa/Elf Hat
Hi everyone! I have seen so many amazing crochet Christmas items online lately and it made me think of the crochet baby hat I made awhile ago. I have this holiday homespun yarn I bought when it was cheap after the holiday season. I like homespun yarn because I always finish projects really fast when I use it. This newborn baby Santa/Elf hat pattern is from Amber’s The Flighty Crafter Blog. It is an elf hat, but since I made it with red and added a white trim, I think it would work as a Santa hat as well 🙂 This pattern was easy to follow and it seems like…

Crochet Rose Bag Pattern
Hi Everyone! Today I want to share my completed rose bag that I wrote about in a Bi-Weekly Pattern Share. Once I finished the base, the rest of the bag felt like it was completed quickly. I think my bag turned out larger than the pattern cause I used a thicker yarn than the pattern said to use. I decided to use three colours since I wanted to use it a lot. I used Caron Simply Soft, so there were a lot of colours to choose from. I wanted to use it up cause I got it from a yarn sale at Michael’s last year. Hooray for yarn sales! I…
