Crochet Stocking Ornament Pattern – FREE PATTERN – Day 10 of 12 Advent Calendar

Hi!

It’s Day 10 of 12 of the Crochet Advent Calendar and it’s a Stocking Ornament! We are almost done with the ornaments for the calendar! I might get a nice little surprise to add to the finished calendar as well!

Let’s start crocheting!

Materials: Stocking Ornament

2.00 mm Crochet Hook
Lace Yarn (I used Woolike)
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Hook and Eyes or Buttons

Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row

Abbreviations

CH – Chain
MR – Magic Ring
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
ST – Stitch
SLST – Slip Stitch
FO – Finish Off

Pattern: Stocking Ornament

Round 1: SC 6 in MR. (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around. (12)
Round 3 – 8: SC in each ST around. (12)

Round 9: Turn. CH 1. SC in same ST as CH 1. SC in next 6. Turn. (7)

Round 10 – 12: CH 1. SC in each. Turn. (7)

To close the opening: Continue to round 13 and sew it closed at the end.

Round 13: CH 1. SC 12 around the top of stocking. (12)

Round 14 – 20: SC in each ST around. (12)

SLST into 1st SC of Round 20 and change colour. CH 1.

Round 21 – 23: SC in each ST around. (12)

Stocking Loop: SLST into next SC. CH 7. SLST into next SC.

FO with invisible FO.
