Hi!

It’s Day 11 of 12 of the Crochet Advent Calendar and it’s a Present Applique! We are almost done with the ornaments for the calendar, just one more ornament to go after this! I might get a nice little surprise to add to the finished calendar as well!

Let’s start crocheting!

Present Applique

Materials:

2.00 mm Crochet Hook
Lace Yarn (I used Woolike)
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Hook and Eyes or Buttons

Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row

Abbreviations

CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
ST – Stitch
SLST – Slip Stitch
FO – Finish Off

Present Applique

Pattern:

CH 12.

Row 1: SC into 2nd CH from hook and till end. Turn. (11)
Row 2 – 11: CH 1. SC in each ST across. Turn. (11)

Surface crochet across the 5th row. And then up the 5th SC. About 10/7surface SLSTs for both.

For the bow:

CH 40.

Tie bow and sew onto the top of the present.
