Snowman Ornament Crochet Pattern
Hi Everyone!
It is almost Christmas and that means its time to start decorating your Christmas trees! Last week I posted about a wreath ornament I made with beads and a little bit of dark green yarn. This week I want to share with you a snowman ornament pattern that also uses a little bit of yarn and some clay. This is an easy pattern that you will finish quickly, if you need to add a little more decoration to your tree.
Here’s the pattern:
Materials
4.00 (G) Hook
White, Green, and Red Worsted Weight (4) Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver)
Black Clay
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Pattern
Head
Round 1: 6 SC in MR (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around (12)
Round 3: *1 SC, then 2 SC in next ST.* Repeat from * to * around. (18)
FO. Weave in ends.
Body
Round 1: 6 SC in MR (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around (12)
Round 3: *1 SC, then 2 SC in next ST.* Repeat from * to * around (18)
Round 4: *1 SC in next 2 STs, then 2 SC in next ST.* Repeat from * to * around (24)
FO. Leave long tail to connect the body to the head.
Scarf (Make one in green and one in red)
CH 17.
FO. Leave short tail.
Eyes Using the black clay make eyes, buttons, and mouth for the snowman. Make the mouth pieces slightly smaller than the eyes and button pieces.
Done! This cute little snowman decoration was easy to make and will add a nice little decoration to your Christmas tree.
