Crochet Sunflower Pin Pattern – Daisy Flower – Easy Free Pattern
Hello fellow crocheters!
This week I want to share the pattern for the sunflower pin! This is soooo cute and makes a nice little accessory for your bag or lanyard. I have made quite a few of them already to give away and everyone loves them! You can also use white yarn instead of the golden yellow yarn to make a daisy.
Lets start crocheting!

Materials: Sunflower Pin
2.00 mm Crochet Hook
Lace Yarn (Light Fingering) or Crochet Thread (I used Woolike)
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Small Safety Pin (7/8″)
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
ST – Stitch
MR – Magic Ring
TR – Treble Crochet (DTR in UK terms)
SK – Skip
SLST – Slip Stitch
FO – Finish Off
Pattern: Sunflower Pin
Using dark brown yarn (or golden yellow yarn if making the daisy)
Make 2 circles.
Round 1: 6 SC in MR (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each (12)
Round 3: 1 SC, 2 SC in next. Repeat around. (18)
FO with invisible FO. Leave a long tail for the 1st circle.
Petals – Using the golden yellow (or white yarn if making the daisy)
Hold both circles together and work petals around all four loops.
SLST into any ST on both discs.
Round 4: CH 3. 3 TR into same. CH 3. SLST into same. SK 1.
*SLST into front disc’s next stitch. CH 3. 3 TR into same. CH 3. SLST into same. SK 1.* Repeat around. (9 Petals)
Note: when you reach the 6th or 7th petal, stuff the flower.
FO. Use the long tail from the 1st circle to sew the safety pin onto the back of the flower.
