Crochet Simple Neckerchief Pattern – Easy and Quick Pattern

Hello!
If you are like me and have a stash of sock yarn in collection this is the perfect project to use up some of it! This is a very simple neckerchief pattern that works up quickly and you can make them in a variety of colours. I made a green and red version with yarn that I have had in my stash for almost 10 years haha!

Let’s start!

Materials: Simple Neckerchief
4.00 mm Hook
Sock/Lace Weight Yarn
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
SC2TOG – Single Crochet 2 Stitches Together (DC2TOG in UK terms)
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
FO – Finish Off


Pattern:
CH 3.
Row 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook and next. Turn. (2)
Row 2: CH 1. SC 2 in each ST. Turn. (4)
Row 3: CH 1. SC 2, SC in next 2, SC 2 in last. Turn. (6)
Row 4: CH 1. SC 2, SC in next 4, SC 2 in last. Turn. (8)
Row 5: CH 1. SC 2, SC in next 6, SC 2 in last. Turn. (10)
Row 6 – 185: CH 1. SC in each. Turn. (10)
Row 186: CH 1. SC2TOG. SC in next 6. SC2TOG. Turn. (8)
Row 187: CH 1. SC2TOG. SC in next 4. SC2TOG. Turn. (6)
Row 188: CH 1. SC2TOG. SC in next 2. SC2TOG. Turn. (4)
Row 189: CH 1. SC2TOG twice. Turn. (2)
Row 190: CH 1. SC2TOG. (1)
SLST around neckerchief.
FO with invisible FO and weave in ends.
