Crochet a Leaf Applique – Free Pattern – Fall/Autumn Decor
Hello everyone!
This is the last appliqué for this year’s autumn garland and it’s the quickest one! The leaf applique can be made with just a little bit of yarn and you can use many colours to add more fun to your garland.

Materials: Leaf Applique
3.00 mm Crochet Hook
DK Yarn
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
HDC – Half-Double Crochet (HTR in UK terms)
ST – Stitch
SLST – Slip Stitch
DC – Double Crochet (TR in UK terms)
TR – Treble Crochet (DTR in UK terms)
TRTR – Triple Treble (TTR in UK terms)
FO – Finish Off
Pattern:
CH 16.
SC in 2nd CH from hook, DC in next, TRTR in next 5, TR in next 3, DC in next 2, HDC in next 2, SC in last, CH 2, SLST into 1st CH, SC in same ST as SC.
Working on other side of CH 16.
HDC in next 2, DC in next 2, TR in next 3, TRTR in next 5, DC in next, SC in last. SLST into 1st SC. CH 4. SC in next 3. SLST into same stitch as CH 4. FO.
