This Crochet Headband Will Be Your New Favorite Summer Accessory – Step by Step Tutorial

Hello!
I am back with another crochet accessory pattern. This crochet headband is very simple, and you just need to know how to do the cluster stitch to get the nice texture look! You won’t need that much yarn to complete the project, so this is a perfect stash-busting project that you can make in many many colours!
Let’s start!

Materials: Crochet Headband
3.75 mm Hook
Sock/Lace Weight Yarn
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
MR – Magic Ring
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
SC3TOG – Single Crochet 3 Stitches Together (DC3TOG in UK terms)
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
FO – Finish Off
Cluster Stitch: YO, insert hook, YO, pull through two. Repeat until have 5 loops on hook. YO, pull through all 5 loops.


Pattern:
CH 62.
SLST down chain until the last CH.
Row 1: SC 3 in last CH. Turn. (3)
Row 2: CH 2. *Cluster Stitch in the next SC. CH 1.* Turn.
Row 3 – 32: CH 2. *Cluster ST in the Cluster ST from the previous round. CH 1.* Repeat till end. Turn.
Row 33: CH 1. SC 3. Turn. (3)
Row 34: CH 1. SC3TOG. Turn. (1)
CH 61.
SLST back down CH and into SC3TOG ST.
FO and weave in ends.
