Classic Granny Square Placemat Crochet Free Pattern – Circle

Granny Square Placemat

Hi there!

It’s summer time here and I finally have the energy to write out some blog posts for some patterns I’ve made a while back! First up is this cute crochet granny square placemat. I used Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread for this pattern, but you can use any crochet thread or lace yarn. The granny square placemat pattern will showcase doing the granny square pattern in a circle, which I think turns out quite nice.

It was so fun to make this granny square placemat and use up some of my giant roll of beige crochet thread. I am thinking of making a set of these for our dinner table, just to add some fun!

Happy Stitching your granny square placemats! These would also match very nicely with the simple crochet coasters that I also made with the same crochet thread.
