
Crochet Moss Stitch Cowl Pattern – Free Crochet Pattern Video Tutorial – Quick and Easy Gifts

Hello!
I’ve had this crochet moss stitch cowl pattern written out since last year, but thought it was a good idea to save it till it started getting cooler again. This pattern is very quick and easy, so if you want to get started on your holiday gifts, it is the perfect pattern for it! It uses the moss stitch, and if you would like, you can make it alternating in colour as well.

Materials:
5.00 mm Crochet Hook
Worsted Weight Yarn
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
SK – Skip
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
FO – Finish Off


Pattern:
CH 91 loosely. SLST to form a loop.
Round 1: SC around. (91)
Round 2: SC in 1st. Ch 1. SK 1. *SC in next. CH 1. SK 1.* Repeat around. Moss stitch. Change colour after last CH 1.
Round 3: *CH 1. SK 1. SC into ch 1 from previous.* Repeat around. Change colour after SC.

Repeat rounds 2 and 3 seventeen times each for a total of 34 rounds.
Round 35: SC around (in ch 1 space and SC from previous round.) FO.
