Crochet a Bauble Applique Ornament – FREE PATTERN – Day 6 of 12 Advent Calendar – Christmas Decoration

Hi!

It’s Day 6 of 12 of the Crochet Advent Calendar and it’s a Bauble Applique! These baubles work up quickly so you can make them up quickly and once you make the tree you can also make the ornaments for the advent calendar.

Let’s start crocheting!

Materials: Bauble Applique

2.00 mm Crochet Hook
Lace Weight Yarn (I used Woolike)
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Hook & Eyes or Buttons

Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row

Abbreviations

CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
ST – Stitch
FO – Finish Off

Pattern: Bauble Applique

Round 1: SC 6 in MR. (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around. (12)
Round 3: *1 SC, 2 SC in next* Repeat around. (18)
Round 4: *1 SC in next 2 STs, 2 SC in next. *Repeat around. (24)
Round 5: *2 SC in next, 1 SC in next 3 STs* Repeat around. (30)

SLST and change colour.

Row 1: CH 1. SC in same ST as CH 1. SC in next 3. Turn. (4)

Row 2: CH 1. SC in next 2 STs. Pull up a slight loop. Take hook out of loop. Put hook into the two loops of the same SC and the next stitch of the row. Yarn over and pull through all three loops. SC in last ST. FO.
