Crochet Mug – FREE CROCHET PATTERN
Hello!
This week I am sharing the second to last piece of the fall garland! The crochet mug pattern is probably the one I was most intimidated to make for the garland, but I think it turned out quite cute!

Materials: Crochet Mug
1.65 mm Hook
Lace Weight Yarn
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Stuffing
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
MR – Magic Ring
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
BLO – Back Loop Only
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
FO – Finish Off
Pattern:
In light brown yarn.
Tea/Coffee:
Round 1: SC 6 in MR. (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around. (12)
Round 3: *1 SC, 2 SC in next* Repeat around. (18)
Round 4: *1 SC in next 2 STs, 2 SC in next.* Repeat around. (24)
Round 5: *1 SC in next 3 STs, 2 SC in next.* Repeat around. (30)
FO with invisible FO.
Cup
Round 1: SC 6 in MR. (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around. (12)
Round 3: *1 SC, 2 SC in next* Repeat around. (18)
Round 4: *1 SC in next 2 STs, 2 SC in next.* Repeat around. (24)
Round 5: *1 SC in next 3 STs, 2 SC in next.* Repeat around. (30)
Round 6: SC around in BLO. (30)
Round 7 – 16: SC around. (30)
Begin stuffing mug.
Round 17: SC around in both loops of the cup and front loop of the disc. (30)
Finish stuffing before the end of the round.
FO with invisible FO.
Handle:
Attach yarn into Round 7.
CH 13. SLST into Round 16. Turn and SLST ~ 11 times down CH. SLST into same spot as where the yarn was attached.
FO and weave in ends.
Optional: embroider a leaf onto the mug.
