Crochet Sunglasses Case Pattern – Free Pattern – Video Tutorial – Summer Crochet

Hello!

The weather is warming up and I thought it would be a good time to share with you my crochet sunglasses case. This is another simple pattern that you can make quickly and also make it so that it hangs on one of your bag straps for easy access.

Let’s get started!

Materials:

2.00 mm Crochet Hook
Crochet Thread
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Stitch Marker
Button

Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each round.

Abbreviations

CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
HDC – Half Double Crochet (HTR in UK terms)
FLO – Front Loop Only
SK – Skip
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
FO – Finish Off

Pattern:

CH 20.

Round 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook and till last ST. 3 SC in last stitch. SC on other side till last ST. 2 in last stitch. (40)

Round 2: HDC around in FLO. (40)

Round 3 – 19: HDC around (40). FO with invisible FO after round 19.

Change colour

Round 20 – 33 : HDC around (40). FO with invisible FO after round 33.

Change colour

Round 34: SC around. SLST into 1st ST. (40)

Round 35: CH 50. SLST into same ST. SC in next 29. CH 12. SK 6 CHs. SLST in next 5. SC in next 10. SLST around CH 50. FO with invisible FO.

Sew on button.
