Hello!

I know it is just the middle of August, but I am seeing more and more Fall patterns being posted in the crochet world, so I thought I would share my Crochet Mushroom Earrings pattern. These are so small and cute! They will add a nice warm tone to your look. It uses a very small amount of yarn, so you can just use scraps for these. Make them in a variety of colors and make a collection of fungi accessories hehe

Let’s start crocheting!

Materials:

1.65 mm Crochet Hook
Light Fingering Yarn/Crochet Thread
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Stuffing
Jump Ring & Fish Hook

Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row

Abbreviations

CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
SC2TOG – Single Crochet Two Stitches Together (DC2TOG in UK terms)
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
BLO – Back Loop Only
FO – Finish Off

Pattern:

Mushroom

Round 1: SC 5 in MR. (5)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around. (10)
Round 3: *1 SC, 2 SC in next* Repeat around. (15)
Round 4 – 5: 1 SC in each ST around. (15)
Round 6: *1 SC, SC2TOG* Repeat around in BLO. (10)

Stuff, but don’t over stuff.
Round 7 : *SC2TOG* Repeat around. (5)

Change to white yarn.

Round 8 – 10: SC in each ST around. (5)

FO with long tail to make 5 French knots on top. When weaving to next knot, go to the border between the colours to bring the stem upwards.

Attach the jump ring and fish hook.
