Crochet Coffee Cup Cozy – Puff Stitch Crochet – Easy Pattern

Hello!
We have been going to the cafe recently, and I always get a hot chocolate when we go there. Sometimes I find the cup too hot, so I decided to write a pattern for a coffee cup cozy. It is so quick and easy because you use the puff stitch to build it up in the round.
Let’s start!

Materials: Crochet Coffee Cup Cozy
4.00 mm Hook
DK Yarn
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
SK – Skip a Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
FO – Finish Off
Puff Stitch: (Yarn over, insert hook, yarn over, pull up a loop) x 3. (7 Loops on hook.) YO, pull through all 7 loops.
Pattern:
CH 38. SLST into 1st CH to form a loop.
Round 1: CH 1. SC in same ST as CH 1 and in each CH around. (38)
Round 2: CH 2. *Puff stitch in next with 7 loops on hook. CH 1. SK 1.* Repeat around. SLST into top of CH 2. (19 puff stitches)
Round 3: CH 1. SC in each puff stitch and CH 1 from previous round. SLST into 1st SC. (38)
Repeat Rounds 2 and 3 a total of 4 times.
FO with invisible FO.
