Free Crochet Mickey Mouse Applique Pattern | Crochet Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Hello!

Are you looking for a quick and simple project that can add a bit of fun to your party decorations? This week I designed this Crochet Mickey Mouse Applique, with a bonus Minnie version as well. They are so cute and take just a few minutes to make. You can make lots of them in all sorts of colors to fit your party theme!

Let’s get start crocheting!

Materials:

4.00 mm Crochet Hook
2.00 mm Crochet Hook
Light Fingering Yarn
DK Yarn
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors

Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row

Abbreviations

CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
DC – Double Crochet (TR in UK terms)
SLST – Slip Stitch
ST(s) – Stitch(es)
FO – Finish Off

Pattern: Crochet Mickey Mouse Applique

Head – 4.00 mm Hook and DK Yarn
Round 1: SC 6 in MR. (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each ST around. (12)

Ears
SLST into next. CH 2. DC in same. DC in next. CH 2. SLST in same. SLST in next 2. CH 2. DC in same. DC in next. CH 2. SLST in same. FO.

Bow – 2.00 mm Hook and Light Fingering Yarn

CH 6.

Row 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook and each ST across. Turn. (5)

Row 2 – 3: CH 1. SC in each. Turn. (5)

FO with long tail.

Weave tail in and out of stitches until you reach the 3rd SC. Then sew down the middle of the bow. You can also wrap the yarn around the piece a few times. FO. And leave tail for sewing.

To make a garland, you will just need a piece of string and weave it into the back of each Crochet Mickey Mouse Applique with an embroidery needle.
