
Crochet a Daisy Bag Charm – Free Crochet Pattern – Video Tutorial

Hello!
I am on a crochet Bag Charm pattern kick and this week I want to share the pattern for the simple Daisy Bag Charm. Last week I shared the Toadstool Mushroom Bag Charm that doubles as a chapstick holder, if you want to give that one a try as well!
Let’s get started!

Materials:
3.00 mm Crochet Hook
DK Weight Yarn
Tapestry Needle
A Pair of Scissors
Stuffing
Note: The numbers in the brackets represent the number of stitches in each row
Abbreviations
MR – Magic Ring
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet (DC in UK terms)
TR – Treble Crochet (DTR in UK terms)
ST – Stitch
SLST – Slip Stitch
FO – Finish Off

Pattern:
Centre (make 2):
Round 1: 6 SC in MR (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each (12)
Round 3: 1 SC, 2 SC in next. Repeat around. (18)
FO with invisible FO. Leave a long tail for the 1st circle.
Petals – Using the golden yellow (or white yarn if making the daisy)
Hold both circles together and work petals around all four loops.
SLST into any ST on both discs.
Round 4: CH 3. 3 TR into same. CH 3. SLST into same. SK 1.
*SLST into front disc’s next stitch. CH 3. 3 TR into same. CH 3. SLST into same. SK 1.* Repeat around. (9 Petals)
Note: when you reach the 6th or 7th petal, stuff the flower.
SLST into 1st ST. CH 50 for the loop and SLST back into the same ST. FO and weave in ends.
