Disney Tsum Tsum Donald Duck Crochet Coaster Pattern
I am here to share with you the third Disney Tsum Tsum crochet coaster pattern that I have made. The first one I made was a Baymax coaster since it really simple. I also made a Daisy Duck coaster, which I shared in another post :) The coaster I am sharing today is a Donald Duck coaster pattern. I think this one is the one I had the most fun making.
Lets get started!
5.00 mm (H) Hook
White Yarn (Red Heart Super Saver)
Light Blue Yarn (Red Heart Super Saver)
Black Yarn (a small amount)
Yellow Yarn (a small amount)
Red Yarn (a small amount)
MR = Magic Ring
HDC = Half-Double Crochet
FO = Finish Off
CH = Chain
SLST = Slip Stitch
SC = Single Crochet
For Coaster (make 2, one white and one light blue):
Round 1: Make MR and CH 2. Make 10 HDC in MR. SLST into top of the CH 2. (10)
Round 2: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into each stitch around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (20)
Round 3: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into 1st stitch then 1 HDC into the next. Repeat around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (30)
Round 4: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into 1st stitch then 1 HDC into next 2 stitches. Repeat around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (40)
Round 5: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into 1st stitch then 1 HDC into next 3 stitches. Repeat around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (50)
FO. Leave a long tail for the purple coasters. Attach eyes, beak, and bow to the white coasters. Using the long tail weave the two coasters together.
Note: Try to weave the yarn of the purple coaster into the HDC’s around the white coaster so the purple yarn does not show up on the white side.
Round 1: SC into 2nd CH from hook. SC into the next 3 stitches then make 2 SC into the last stitch. SC along the back stitches. SLST into 1st SC. (11)
FO. Leave tail for attaching to face.
Row 1: SC into 2nd CH from hook. SC into the next 4 stitches. Turn. CH 1. (5)
Row 2: SC across. (5)
Row 3: Same as Row 2. (5)
FO. Leave long tail to form bow and attach to the bottom of the coaster.
To form the, bow weave needle into the middle of piece and pinch the middle of middle and wrap the yarn around this area until it forms a bow. Stick the needle into the middle of the bow and sew the bow onto the coaster.
Round 1: Form a MR and make 5 SC into it. SLST into the first SC. (5)
FO. Leave tail and sew onto the purple piece.
Start with black yarn.
Row 1: SC 2 into 1st stitch, then SC 1 into 2nd stitch. Turn. (3)
FO. Leave tail for sewing hat onto coaster.
Change to light blue yarn.
Row 2: CH 1. Make 2 SC into each stitch. (6)
Row 3: CH 1. Make 2 SC into 1st stitch, then 1 SC into the next 2 stitches. (8)
FO. Weave in ends. Use the tail left from the black yarn to sew hat onto coaster.
Using the black felt, cut out circles equal to the size of these circles:
Note: Make sure to attach the face before sewing the two coasters together.
Ribbon for Hat
Using the black felt, cut out a piece that is similar to this shape:
Note: Attach the hat before attaching the ribbon for the hat so it meets up at the black edge of the hat properly.
Done! Don’t they make a cute couple? Leave me a comment if you have any questions :) Ravelry Pattern Page:
