3DS Crochet Case Pattern

3DS Crochet Case Pattern

Hi everyone!

Back again with another crochet pattern :) I have the original Nintendo 3DS and I thought it was time for a new case :) I had previously made a case, but it was looking a little droopy. It was actually one of my first projects and it uses the star stitch. I had followed Teresa’s Cell Phone Pouch Video and just made it longer to fit the 3DS :) If you are new to crochet Teresa’s video on her Crochet Geek Channel will be very helpful to you! I watched her videos to learn about to crochet and also with a little help from my mom :D Anyway, onto the pattern for my new case :)

Materials
4.25 mm (G) Hook
Worsted Weight Yarn (4 ply) (I used Caron’s Simply Soft Dark Country Blue and Green)
Small amount of Cotton Yarn (4 ply) (For button, if you want to just use a normal button you won’t need this)
Tapestry Needle
Scissors

Abbreviations
(MR) – Magic Ring
(FO) – Finish Off
(SC) – Single Crochet
(SLST) – Slip Stitch
(CH) – Chain
(SK1ST) – Skip 1 Stitch
(BKLP) – Back Loop
(DC) – Double Crochet
(HDC) – Half-Double Crochet
(ST) – Stitch

Notes
--> If you have a different sized 3DS or if you want to make a case for something else, just make the starting chain long enough for the width base of the object.
--> CH 3’s doesn’t count as double crochet for entire pattern
