3DS Crochet Case Pattern

Hi everyone!

Back again with another crochet pattern ๐Ÿ™‚ I have the original Nintendo 3DS and I thought it was time for a new case ๐Ÿ™‚ I had previously made a case, but it was looking a little droopy. It was actually one of my first projects and it uses the star stitch. I had followed Teresaโ€™s Cell Phone Pouch Video and just made it longer to fit the 3DS ๐Ÿ™‚ If you are new to crochet Teresaโ€™s video on her Crochet Geek Channel will be very helpful to you! I watched her videos to learn about to crochet and also with a little help from my mom ๐Ÿ˜€ Anyway, onto the pattern for my new case ๐Ÿ™‚

3DS Case1

Materials

4.25 mm (G) Hook

Worsted Weight Yarn (4 ply) (I used Caronโ€™s Simply Soft Dark Country Blue and Green)

Small amount of Cotton Yarn (4 ply) (For button, if you want to just use a normal button you wonโ€™t need this)

Tapestry Needle

Scissors

Abbreviations

(MR) โ€“ Magic Ring (FO) โ€“ Finish Off
(SC) โ€“ Single Crochet (SLST) โ€“ Slip Stitch
(CH) โ€“ Chain (SK1ST) โ€“ Skip 1 Stitch
(BKLP) โ€“ Back Loop (DC) โ€“ Double Crochet
(HDC) โ€“ Half-Double Crochet (ST) โ€“ Stitch

Notes

–> If you have a different sized 3DS or if you want to make a case for something else, just make the starting chain long enough for the width base of the object.

–> CH 3โ€™s doesnโ€™t count as double crochet for entire pattern
