Honeydew (Yogscast) Amigurumi Pattern…Finally :P

Hi Everyone!

I was looking through my old pattern book and I remembered how I was going to post the pattern to Honeydew from The Yogscast on Youtube. The notes were messy so I had some trouble figuring out what I was trying to say so if there are mistakes in the pattern please let me know! This is also the first pattern I made up myself

Honeydew1

Materials
– 4.25mm (G) and 2.00 mm Hooks
– Fingering (4 ply) Yarn (Grey, Black, Beige, Orange)
– 12mm Black Safety Eyes
– Fibre fill Stuffing
– Grey Felt (small amount)
– Tapestry Needle
– Scissors

Abbreviations

(MR) – Magic Ring (FO) – Finish Off
(SC) – Single Crochet (SLST) – Slip Stitch
(SC2TOG) – Single Crochet 2 Together (CH) – Chain

Notes

–> The numbers in the brackets after each step are the number of stitches that are supposed to be in each round.

–> I crocheted in the round so there isn’t a SLST to end each round.

–> To stuff feet, legs, and arms I used the back of my crochet hook to get the stuffing into the small areas of the pieces.

  1. I have a pattern that tells me to honeydew in the first stitch. Can you tell me how to do that? I am trying to figure out if it is a real stitch/technique or if it was a mistake in the pattern?

    1. Hi Jessica!

I believe that is a typo in the pattern as I have never seen or heard of this stitch. I have also tried searching for it online and don’t seem to find any stitches under this name. Let me know if you need anymore help!

      Cheers,

      Jessica

      1. Thank you very much. I thought that it might be but I wanted to make sure first.

        Thank you once again
