Disney Tsum Tsum Daisy Duck Crochet Coaster Pattern

Hi Everyone!

I am here to share with you the second Disney Tsum Tsum crochet coaster pattern that I have made. The first one I made was a Baymax coaster since it really simple. I also made a Donald Duck coaster, which I shared in another post 🙂 The coaster I am sharing today is a Daisy Duck coaster pattern.

Lets get started!

5.00 mm (H) Hook
White Yarn (Red Heart Super Saver)
Purple(Red Heart Super Saver)
Black Yarn (a small amount)
Yellow Yarn (a small amount)
Pink Yarn (a small amount)
Black Felt
Tapestry Needles
Scissors

Abbreviations
MR = Magic Ring
HDC = Half-Double Crochet
FO = Finish Off
CH = Chain
SLST = Slip Stitch
SC = Single Crochet

Pattern
For Coaster (make 2, one white and one purple):
Round 1: Make MR and CH 2. Make 10 HDC in MR. SLST into top of the CH 2. (10)
Round 2: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into each stitch around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (20)
Round 3: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into 1st stitch then 1 HDC into the next. Repeat around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (30)
Round 4: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into 1st stitch then 1 HDC into next 2 stitches. Repeat around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (40)
Round 5: CH 2. Make 2 HDC into 1st stitch then 1 HDC into next 3 stitches. Repeat around. SLST into top of the CH 2. (50)
FO. Leave a long tail for the purple coasters. Attach eyes, beak, and bow to the white coasters. Using the long tail weave the two coasters together.

Note: Try to weave the yarn of the purple coaster into the HDC’s around the white coaster so the purple yarn does not show up on the white side.

Beak
CH 6
Round 1: SC into 2nd CH from hook. SC into the next 3 stitches then make 2 SC into the last stitch. SC along the back stitches. SLST into 1st SC. (11)
FO. Leave tail for attaching to face.

Bow
CH 6
Row 1: SC into 2nd CH from hook. SC into the next 4 stitches. Turn. CH 1. (5)
Row 2: SC across. (5)
Row 3: Same as Row 2. (5)
FO. Leave long tail to form bow and attach to top of coaster.

To form the, bow weave needle into the middle of piece and pinch the middle of middle and wrap the yarn around this area until it forms a bow. Stick the needle into the middle of the bow and pull the yarn through. Once that is done, sew the bow onto the coaster.

Tail
Round 1: Form a MR and make 5 SC into it. SLST into the first SC. (5)
FO. Leave a tail and sew onto the purple piece.

Eyes
Using the black felt, cut out circles equal to the size of these circles:

Note: Make sure to attach the face before sewing the two coasters together.
