Crochet Beanie/Toque/Hat Pattern

Hi Everyone!

We are enjoying some nice sunny weather here, with some episodes of rain πŸ˜› It is expected living on the west coast. Even though it is summer time here, it is still slightly cold in the mornings and evenings. This type of weather is perfect for the beanie/toque/hat (or whatever you want to call it) that I made my friend. I completed it in 2 days, but if you are in a rush it could probably be done in a day πŸ˜€

4.25Β mm (G) Hook
Light Weight Yarn
Yarn Needle
Stitch Marker (optional)

I used the pattern on Deanna’s Warmth Designs Blog, where she has many other patterns so go check out her page! πŸ™‚ I had used thicker yarn before to make another hat using the same pattern, but it was not as “slouchy” as I would have liked. It was still warm and cozy though!

I had some leftover grey yarn that I had used to knit some socks that didn’t turn out 😦 I always end up with socks that aren’t the same size! I should probably stop finishing one sock and leaving the other one till later πŸ˜› Anyways, with this left over yarn (about 3/4 of a skein) I was able to complete the hat Β and still have some leftover to make the tying part of a bow tie πŸ˜€ I will be posting the pattern for it in a later post.

Enjoy! πŸ˜€
