Crocheted Beanie Pattern

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday I blogged about the cup cozies that I made for my Secret Santa exchange last year. Today I want to share the beanie I made for the Santa Exchange. We each received a Secret Santa, but everyone still got $1 gifts from each of us. This way we each got a little something from each person 🙂 What Christmas traditions do you share with your friends?

My giftee requested a hat and said that her favourite colour were berry colours so I decided to make a black beanie with a bit of colour running at different points of the beanie. This is also what Tanya of Little Things Blogged did. Using her pattern I was able to make the hat relatively quickly, a couple of days before the exchange 🙂

The pattern didn’t have a pompom, but I wanted to add it to the beanie that I made so I followed Teresa’s pompom tutorial. If you are just starting to crochet her videos are a great resource to use! 😀 This beanie was a lot of fun to make and can be made in a variety of colour combination so it can be made for just about anyone. 🙂

Enjoy!
